Colorized Dark Energy on Acrylic

I have always been interested in astrophysics. One of the greatest mysteries in the field is dark energy. We know it's everywhere throughout the universe and is quite possibly the most prevalent of any other type of matter (if it is matter, that is). We can't see it, hear it, feel it, or taste it, but it is all around us, and it's constantly moving. This piece is my vision of what dark energy might look like if we could somehow inject it with color.

But if you're not a space geek, like me, this can simply be a swirling colorful abstract image. I'm cool with that.
